Rufus has completed his series of Christmas concerts at 3 prison facilities.  He also shared Christmas by Candlelight at the Bridge Church in Pontiac.

November 2018
Rufus is gearing up for a series of Christmas concerts in prison called - Christmas with Rufus.  So far 3 prisons are booked: Macomb Correctional, Women's Huron Valley and Milan Federal.   He is looking forward to bringing joy to those behind bars.

September 2018
Some of you might be aware that Rufus fell
off his bike prior to 4thFridays in September.  It was a dirt bike.  No fractures or broken bones but he suffered a severe muscle spasm.   He is doing much better now.  Thank you for prayers and also thank you to the kind stranger who helped him after the fall.  Read the touching story here.

4thFridays with rufus harris kicks off 2018 with its first show happening on January 26th at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn.

Most people that know Rufus know he likes to run.   He will be running in the annual Turkey Trot with thousands of other runners on Thanksgiving Day in Downtown Detroit.

October 2017
Rufus and Joe Harris of  the band Undisputed Truth reconnect after many years.   Joe was the lead singer of the 70s hit "Smiling Faces Sometimes".  The two worked in the world-class recording studio - United Sound Systems in Detroit years ago.   Joe is working on new music with legendary musicians - Dennis Coffey and Ralpe Armstrong.  Rufus is excited to once again lend his audio engineering skills.
