Who is Like Him?
Moses and the children of Israel after being miraculously delivered from 400 years slavery in Egypt sang a song to the Lord.  Part of the song says, "Who among the gods is like you… Who is like you -- majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? (Exodus 15:11)".

We need to pray that our eyes be opened to see how awesome God is.  Look at the creation - such order, such magnificence - it is so immense.  The creation is no accident.  There is a Supreme Intelligence - God - behind creation.  The creation demonstrates how marvelous God is - His authority, His supply, His Salvation. Who Is Like Him?

2BePraised
Look at a sunrise - a sunset.  Look at an ocean coastline or lakeshore, the mountains, plains and valleys.  Look at the simplicity of the atom - protons, neutrons and electrons - and then the complexity of the largest living animals - all made of the same particles - protons, neutrons, and electrons.

2BePraised is a song of worship that not only speaks of how exalted God's is but prompts us to be mindful and appreciative of the simple things the Lord has done also.

1INeed
At one time, my arrogance led me to think I did not need anyone - not family, friends, the church - not even God.  But the Lord intervened and through His mercy allowed me to see I could not live in a void.  I needed family, friends, the church and above all God - God's life - His spirituality in my life.

Everything Is Yours
King David,  when dedicating the Temple and seeing the gifts that he and the people had given for its building,  acknowledged that "wealth and honor comes from the Lord, that he is the ruler over all things and in His hands are strength and power to raise up and give help to every and anyone.  So ultimately, everything comes from Him and we only give what comes from His hand."  So where does pride about who we are, what we have or what we give come into the picture?  Everything is the Lord's!

Captain
It is easy to say, "Jesus Is Lord!" when things are going well.  The song Captain encourages us to lean on the Lord Jesus when we are tempted to compromise.  We look for what he says in the Word, we look for His wisdom, we think about His promise.

U-R
The Lord is or can be our source for all the things that really matter in our lives.  The song U-R is about comfort and having adequate provision from the Lord.  If one leans on the Lord peace and supply are received.

Risen
The apostle Paul said, "if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.  And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith (1Cor. 15:13-14).  The resurrection of Jesus is key to Christianity.  Since God raised Jesus from the dead he can give us hope in any situation we find ourselves.

UMustBBornAgain
The term "born again" has gotten a bit of a bad rap with the popularity of TV evangelism and the failures of a few of those ministers.  The term "born again" is not - however - an invention of the church.  Jesus in the gospel of John chapter 3 talked about the second birth.  Jesus said that for a man to enter or even see the kingdom of God a man has to experience the second birth.  That is what UMustBBornAgain is about…

The Worship Song
Sometimes we forget about the character of God, about who God really is.  He is our savior, our redeemer, and our righteousness.  He is the Lord of Peace, he is the Lord who is always there, he is the Lord who heals His people, He provides, He is our shepherd and flag or banner over us.  We must remember who God is!
The Worship Song is a tune that magnifies the Lord's character, authority, honor, reputation, and excellence.

Look So Good
How others view us as believers is so important.  It is called our testimony - not just what say out of our mouths but what we say out of our hearts.

Before I was a Christian the lives of two people absolutely impressed me - my mom and a factory worker named Gary - both radiated with God's character.  And still today the many believers lives still positively affect me the same way. Look So Good is a tribute to those believers.

We Long to Glorify
Christ's love us - the love he demonstrated by all he has done for us - should affect us totally (our talk, our walk).  Encountering Jesus is cause and that encounter has an effect!  We should - we must - let His actions affect us.  By doing so we will glorify Him in all we do and say.
